Safety fittings
Everything under control! Who can keep an eye, around the clock, on a toddler who’s eager to explore? We’ve come up with some well-designed „guardian angels“ to help keep your child’s desire for adventure from turning into disaster. From playpens made of sturdy beechwood to door and stair gates.

Of course, safety doesn’t preclude the urge to explore and be active. Playpens, stair gates and fireplace gates provide children with “safe” boundaries, put romping kids on the right path, and give parents a feeling of security.
And since families are often on the move, some of our safety gates are mobile as well − because curious children like to play best near their siblings and parents. After all, they want to take part in normal family life − even if it’s in the kitchen. Our sturdy “guardian angels” are made of adjustable or foldable wood and metal and come in a variety of designs.
Whether big or small, round or oval, four, six or eight-sided − all of them are flexible, and often fulfil a variety of functions at once.
Genuine guardian angels!
Tip
Situations often arise where it makes sense toknow that your little ones are safe. A playpen offers
sufficient protection, whilst encouraging your child
to stand or take his or her first steps.

To increase safety in the nursery, drawers incorporated in our furniture are fitted with a soft-close system. The soft-close system prevents doors and drawers from slamming shut and automatically controls the final stage of closing.
For the fi rst time, our new collection features the handle-free tip-on system. Handle-free front panels are playing an ever-greater role in modern furniture design. The mechanical tip-on opening support system allows handle-free drawers and pullouts to be effortlessly opened at a touch.
